Product Introduction
The UHV flexible DC technology can realize long-distance transmission of large-scale clean energy such as wind and solar power. It effectively addresses prominent issues in conventional DC technology, such as high requirements for integration into AC systems, susceptibility to commutation failures, and difficulties in constructing multi-terminal DC systems, making it the best choice for large-scale renewable energy transmission. The 4.5kV/5kA IGBT flexible DC converter valve developed by TBEA Xi'an Electric Technology can meet the requirements of long-distance, high-capacity DC transmission projects for new energy under the“Dual Carbon”goals, and large-scale offshore wind farm development and utilization. TBEA Xi'an Electric Technology has also developed a digital driver for 3300V-6500V IGBT modules. Compared to analog drivers, module losses under the same components can be reduced by about 10%, promoting the development of flexible DC technology towards UHV and large capacity. Major new energy transmission projects such as Gansu Power to Zhejiang, Mengxi-Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei have all been subject to the 5kA flexible DC converter valve technology as their preferred solution, marking China's flexible DC technology enter the 8GW era.
